    Good Afternoon,

I'm enquiring about a few specific boards:

I'm looking to upgrade my over clocked system from a Q660 GO and 4 gig of DDR2 RAM to:

    CPU: http://www.scan.co.uk/products/intel-core-i5-2500k-unlocked-s1155-sndy-bridge-quad-33ghz-hd3000-igp-850mhz-6mb-cache-95w-retail
    RAM: http://www.scan.co.uk/products/8gb-(2x4gb)-corsair-ddr3-vengeance-jet-black-pc3-12800-(1600)-non-ecc-cas-9-9-9-24-xmp-150v

So I'm basically looking at for my mobos:

    http://www.scan.co.uk/products/msi-p67a-gd53-(b3)-intel-p67-s-1155-ddr3-sata-iii-6gb-s-sata-raid-pcie-20-(x16)-atx

    OR

    http://www.scan.co.uk/products/asus-p8p67rev30-intel-p67-s-1155-ddr3-sata-iii-6gb-s-sata-raid-pcie-20-(x16)-atx
    http://www.ebuyer.com/260187-asus-p8p67-le-r3-p67-socket-1155-8-channel-hd-audio-atx-p8p67-le-r3

what is the main difference between these boards? Is there any issue with over clocking less FPS? My current graphics card is a 560 Ti will that have any difference in which mobo it get? and what is the difference is LE and standard? I'm looking to purchase in the next 15 mins so any help would be great.

    Regards,

    iniquix

LE usually has less features than the standard so they can be produced more cheaply, certainly by inspection one thing that often stands out on LE boards are the heatsinks are often of lower complexity and quality.

I do not know if this bargain I posted on the market place is still available:

It is a Z68 board with more premium features, as good as the P67 but with more features, with the discount in the same range as your choices, I would consider it over all three at the discounted price.

Yes, looked at that Asus LE too, as I mentioned, you can clearly see it is missing a heatsink on the power electronics, may not overclock as well, also does not have the more useful right angle satas, basically wherever Asus thinks they can lower the cost they will have done so.

Why would you go for the p8p67 over the MSI board?
Also like to add my CPU cooler is a Dark Rock Advanced. Will it struggle getting my RAM, gfx in If I went for the p8p67?

I would choose either over the LE.

The Dark Rock Advanced is large, should not block the graphics card but may block the first slot for RAM I believe. Either fill the other channel or if this is an issue just buy the low profile version ram:

Both pretty decent boards, the price differential is down to feature set I think, looks like the asus has bluetooth onboard and an extra controller that proves 2 more Sata 3 ports. The MSI does not have this but has 2 16x pci-e lanes that do not throttle, even if you had SLI throttling one lane to 8x has little effect at the moment anyway. If you want the features on the Asus get that otherwise you could save money on the MSI (but I still think the Z68 board I recommended is best ;))
