Modding Quick LED question

    Am thinking of changing the LEDs in my keyboard and then my optical mouse. Blue LEDs, of course :p. For my keyboard would i need to change anything but the LEDs (ie resistors)?? And what kind of brightness are standard keyboard ones mcd?

    For my opitical mouse, as far as i can tell the brighter the better, but i cant seem to find many good LED places in the UK :(, having been looking through Farnell thou, brightest i can find are 2000 mcd, would these be any good??

    You can buy single Sunbeam lazer LEDs (8000 mcd) 5mm from www.microplex.no. I'm sure you can get these from other webshops too.
