I got a Nano today, late christmas present, and i hooked it up a few times to add music. when i connect it via usb though, am i using a charge cycle each time? i know the lithium battery only gives me like 300 to 500 or something, so if i am i want to conserve them. am i sending my nano to a early grave? sry its a noob question, next time ill :search: more thuroughly.

it tops off the battery and trickle charges it to keep it at steady level. dont worry, the battery will last a long long time.
