quick question about a switch. i was jsut wondering. i wana have a little eaiser time overclocking... and i hate clearing the bios, so i was thinking of a swich, basicall a normal toggle switch that would have 2 settings, REGULAR and CLEAR, so if it were on REGULAR setting, it would be the default jumper setting, and if it were on clear, it would be on the RESET BIOS jumper setting. and then just use those real small jumper things (3 pin jumper for speaker on a case prolly) and i was just wondering if there are any certain kind of switches that will work. or anything i should know. i dont wanna break anything =) thanks for your help =P... just wanna make sure this will work
bounceless would be best. But if you make sure you switch the power off before chanigng the switch state, any single pole, doublt throw switch will work (SPDT).
yea i got it to work. just lemme say, that this was the FASTEST overclock ive ever done =p i got a nice 500mhz boost (1.2-1.7) in about 10 miniutes (not including the time to take the kids computer outta the freaking corner and get the side panel off so i could plug my switch in.. jesus that desk is clutterd and cramped!) ill post a pic of it. im so mounting one of these in my computer. its such a time saver. seriously.
Also it would great along with the pics ...give a mini-tutorial with it i would like to this with my comp and i am really tired of moving everything around to get into the case lol my desk is such a mess lol
