    Hello :) lol
Im going to Cut a square (For my radiator on my water cooling) out of the side pannel of my Lian Li, and the aluminium looks pretty strong, is it hard to cut?
What im really asking is, is there a special blade I should get for my dremel or should I use a jig saw?
    Or something else.

    thanks
    .Keir.

its a lot easier than youd think.

for :dremel:, use #426 reinforced cutoff wheel

for jigsaw, use a fine metal blade, carbide if you can afford it.

some people swear by the dremel diamond coated cutoff wheels, but you have to keep the part you are cutting wet or they tend to overheat and shatter.

Just a quick note, make sure to tape the area before you start cutting, or you will end up with some nice little scratches like I did :wallbash:

ok, about masking the pannel, do you think I should just use masking tape or a layer of news paper and maskingtape?

I just used masking tape on mine. Mask everything you don't want scratched because that finish does scratch up pretty easily. Just one layer of tape worked for me. but still be careful when you are moving the panel around and stuff. Make sure there isn't any little shavings under it and you should be fine.

Unless you really need the lower 3.5" bay, remove that and place the radiator under the other 3.5" drives.

It works great (twin 80's intake with a 120mm behind the rad also).

That is how my case is set up and only requires a small slot cut on the bottom of the case for the radiator to rest in. Very snug and will not come undone even if you shook the case.

Also if possible cut from behind, so that any accidental scratches won't be seen
