ramblings of the sleep deprived.. Whats your most anticipated game(s) right now? Mines is currently Gears Of War 2 firstly, super smash brothers and battlefield bad company looks interesting...oh and starcraft 2! I do feel its gone a wee bit quiet on the Pc gaming front too..most of these are console based... Also, did anyone eles out there feel warcraft 3 + tft is the best RTS out still even after all these years? is it me or is their really no game to take away the crown in the RTS genre from it? (this is just my opinion but feel free to share yours!)
I'm quite excited about being able to play Mass Effect, but I think I'm most excited about Spore atm, it looks rather good.
They have an array of sensors which detect RADAR/EM signals coming from other aircraft/missiles, and a clever computer recognises the different patterns between tracking and missile-lock. Obscenely clever tbh.
This depends entirely on which "perfect vertical" you were to encompass. Assuming for a moment that cars can drive on water, and that you're travelling at a constant speed regardless of incline or road surface, it would depend entirely upon which longitudinal line you were travelling along. For example, if you were to travel such that you encompassed Everest and other large land projections, it would of course take longer. Choosing a route that was mostly oceanic would mean it would take less time. But of course, as I mentioned - this all depends on having a super-hyper car that can travel on water and climb / descend mountains / cliff faces at a regular unchanging speed...
If there is a Highways Agency car 'coralling' traffic, and slowing it down to 20mph on an empty strech of motorway, can you just blast off past them? In other words, do they have an legal authority over you?
They don't have the authority to place you under arrest, but it is an offence to ignore their requests or directions. (I.e. "We're not going to arrest you, but we have your numberplate and the Police on speed dial..."). So, if they're actively signalling traffic to slow down and wait behind them, then speeding past them would be considered a driving offence. They are all required to drive at 60 anyway otherwise they cause hellish traffic hold ups. Same with the police.
What does the word "ultra" mean? As in Canons USM lenses. "Ultra Sonic motor". It have something to to with sound, but it doesn't seem to make much sense other than that it's a quiet motor...
It was originally a disease found in infected Rhesus monkeys, but as they are so genetically similar to us, it easily transferred to Humans. The first recorded case was a lab worker, trying to investigate how it was killing the monkeys, to try and help them. However, while performing an autopsy, he cut his finger, and became the first human carrier of AIDS. (Or at least, so my memory of essays around this topic tells me!)
The closest thing that comes to mind is a gold Chocobo really. Was worth all the breeding though, got Knights of the Round in about 5 minutes! Ahhh... memories. AH
Ultra violet - shorter wavelength/higher freq light Ultra sound - high frequency sound So high I suppose. Or very, as in "an ultra fast computer"
Lol. We all want a gold Chocobo. Though I'd settle for a dark blue one if that was all that is available. Wheres the nearest chocobo dealership?
