Can anyone recommend me a quiet 6800 le or vanilla 6800? Nvidia arent renound for quiet coolers so i wondered if anyone has any experience of quiet stock coolers. It also must b single slot so that it fits in my shuttle.

I thought the 6800's came with dual slot coolers stock? Why not get a quiet aftermarket cooler for your card and use that?

One word: warranty. That's why i haven't changed the cooler on my X800 Pro, i don't want this £300 card to go wrong one day and discover they won't take it back. I know full well that most places won't check, but luck is a vicious bitch.

Keep the original heatsink and when/if it fails, put it back on. Make sure to keep all the thermal paste/pads on the heatsink so it looks stock and clean off any AS5 that may have been applied.

    Simple :)

Nah, that's not ethical. They don't cover aftermarket coolers, just in case you break something. Doesn't sound right to me ;)
