the FCC should have the power to prevent seasame street from being brought to you by the number 69, but when janet jackson showed a censored nipple on TV they freaked out and started fining left and right. when i was growing up I (as most boys) wanted to be a police officer. i watched COPS religiously, but they have censored anything on that show; where are the fines for the hooker who flashed the cops? wheres the fine for the producers of the show OK-ing it? where is the fine for the station that aired this episode? COPS is on primetime, little children watch it. but the janet jackson thing was aired during a "family show", like the beer, Enzyte, and other-things-you-can't-buy-until-you're-18-or-21 commericals. i saw an enzyte commercial during "threes company" on Nickelodeon! granted it was nick at night, airing "grown up" shows like happy days, i love lucy, and the Cosby show (basically shows kids watch). it's a double standard, if a pixeled out image is not OK for one show it's not OK for another.
I'm not donating any more money to the tsunami fund. They are bloody loaded over there now. Everyone of them has a boat of the drive.
Yes, but probably ones that got swept up there by the wave. Before you post more inane sweeping statements, I would like you to read post #18 again. The bit on freedom of speech and responsibility to use it wisely.
