Cooling rad shroud

    what is a good thickness for a radiator shroud? im using 120 mm fans and want to get the maximum performance. however, i dont have that much room so i would like to make it as thin as possible.

    1 inch minimum.

    I second that. 1" min in order to the reduce the deadspot. hope its a 38mm thick fan too.

    In theory the thicker the better, but if you're just looking for a pretty way to mount a fan it doesn't matter.
