30FPS does not feel like a lag fest in BF3. I'm guessing I average in the low 30s when playing online with my 560Ti and it hasn't felt laggy once. I'm sure you'd notice a difference playing at 60FPS, especially if you look for it, but it isn't necessary.
Your guessing? With a 560ti unless your playing with 4xAA at 1080p you'll be hitting at least 45fps average.
Because your statement taken to its conclusion would be 'who needs the NES, a picture is a picture and Pong is a nice picture'. It's a ridiculous statement trying to start a flamewar of console vs. PC. No one cares, people buy what they buy - if you don't like these new GPUs then that's fine, but trying to start a flame war is uncool.
