    Hi,

I own a Sapphire Radeon 9600 card. I want to overclock it, but I don't know how and what its maximum is. Also, can I flash it to a XT or Pro? (Like you can do with other Radeons).

I"ve got the same card. There are two things you'll need. First off, 9600 cards are unoverclockable without a hacked driver - get it here http://www.techpowerup.com/softmod/downloads.php and on top of that, for the easiest way to find your maximum stable clocks, use ATI Tool - it automatically bumps clocks up as it checks for artifacts, and scales back when it finds them. Great for finding the maximum speeds without the hassles. get it here - http://www.techpowerup.com/atitool/downloads.php

yes and no. They're essentially the same idea as the omegas, but without the optimizations. However, you can have your omegas and eat your softmod too. Just download the patched ati2mag.sys file and toss it in like you would for regular drivers once you have omegas in.
