Graphics Radeon 9800 pro help

ATi replaced my card. It was faulty

 

I doubt it has much (or anything) to do with this, but my trusty old Sapphire Atlantis 9700 Pro started acting up a while ago. It produced graphical glitches (vertical sections on the monitor would become corrupted, or pixels all over the screen). It happened in the POST screen and in the BIOS too, as well as on other computers, so I knew something was really wrong. It also seemed, judging from Sapphire's forum, like there were quite a few people having problems, and a lot of speculation went into the RAM chips on the cards.

Oh, and the fan didn't always start spinning when I turned on the computer anymore... had to push it myself

Fortunately for me, the card was just ten months old so I returned it to the shop. Unfortunately for me, the shop didn't sell 9700 Pros anymore, so I had to accept a 9800 Pro instead

So far, this one has worked well... just hope it lasts
