    Hey

I'm going to use two 40gb intel x25-v sata SSD drives as my primary with win7 64 bit on an asus P6T SE mainboard. Firstly, how and when should I update the firmware; I'm already using one of these 40gb and am going to install the new one soon. Should I flash the drives individually, or wait till they are set to RAID. Also, how do I set up RAID 0 with the above board and drives and go about installing windows 7. Thanks :)

I'd avoid using RAID with any SSDs tbh - all it gives you are nice sequential benchmarks and a long list of potential headaches. The performance boost isn't worth the trouble and raided drives don't get trim. Check out the "why you need trim" article for further info.

Yes, I read the article and was about to return the new drive, when I saw that TRIM is supported by intel SSD in raid via intel toolkit....I've still not opened it, i think I'll return this one.
