My PC has become very laggy all of a sudden so trying to figure out why and thought it could well be because i havent defraged her since i build her.

So is it okay to run winblows defragger on a HD which is using RAID0?

Sorry for the noob question, but i thought i better check rather than risk loosing 140gig of data LOL :D

    Cheers

I defrag my Raid0 all the time, never had a problem with it, but as always it's worth while backing up first.

I use Diskkeeper 7 for what it's worth.

Windows only see's Raided disk sets as one disk.

I've been defragging my raid0 array with Windows defragger since I originally set it up and never had a problem. The only difference is that it does it uber-fast!
