    Depending on there build quality they not bad for a 180kg gas lift chair.

    So, recommendations for a good office chair then? After spending £50 at Staples a few years ago it's time for a replacement...

    anyone using that Ikea high back with the mesh?

    I take it you mean IKEA Markus. had it for couple of years, great value for the price IMO, built like a tank.

    Passed it on mainly because it's a huge f*cker, and the mesh collects dust like crazy.

    Had one(ish) since 2010. Very comfortable chair but has been replaced every year under warranty due to gas shock failure. Last time they offered me a full refund but I took the replacement.

    boo my chair is only 158kg gas lift. But thankfully, I am only 110kg, and my chair looks nice :)
