    Is ram cooling worth it???
Or is it just gimmicky, with the i7 system your not gona massively overvolt your ram so will it benefit from its own cooling?

Unless you're planning on spanking your RAM to high heaven, forget it, complete waste of money.
far better to ensure you have good airflow through your case.

heat spreaders are a good thing. they keep the temps of individual chips on the ram sticks from spiking. but active ram cooling isnt necessary for 99% of users.

if you're water cooling then it can help with keeping the components/heatsinks around the cpu cool, but i've never found it make the slightest difference to the clockability of the ram itself.

RAM cooling is a total waste of time. Its about selling pimped out sticks for epeen.
