Quick question, probably pretty simple. I've put together the machine I've been talking about the last week, you can find the thread and get the specs if needed, but anyway The ram that was sold with it is the wrong kind, so ofcourse I couldn't install it. But I wanted to see if it would even come on after I hooked it and when I plug it in i get absolutely nothing from no where. Will it not even attempt to turn on without ram ?
If you have a case speaker hooked up, or diagnostic lights on the mobo then you'll get a series of beeps/blinks to tell you, you don't have ram.. But thats it. You won't get screen, or nothing like that.
