    Hello,

I have a win XP machine which seems to get randon BSOD's all the time, this has reulted in it deleting the networking things that it uses to get on the internet by the actell speedtouch BT modem. I have tried to reinstall XP on the HD but halfway through it crashed out and died. It will also still not allow me to connect to the net through the wizard and will not direct traffic through the speedtouch.

I think it could be a HDD failing, as there are some KB issues on the M$ web site. I have followed all these and still nothing.

What should I be looking for if a HDD is failing? The machine also clunks sometimes and will die randomly. Could this be a HDD problem?

Thanks for anyones help in advance,

    G{u}ns
