I usually run Fraps on my system to get the FPS in game.
But earlier when running EVE, another program was running too but I have no idea wtf it is!?!
It runs in the top left and right corners displaying FPS and the time.
I systematically ran through the Task Manager ending all the processes but it kept running.
Below is a screenshot, anyone know what program is running so I can bloody stop it!!!

I've notice this too, started right after an xfire update. Also, when I close xfire it's gone so it must be xfire.

Why is the FPS at different rates in the screenshot?

It was still running after I closed XFire...
The Fraps reading updates a lot quicker then the other one.

Like most games, the console/options menu has the ability to enable/disable a built-in FPS readout -- EVE is no exception. Either disable it in the menu/options or CTRL-ALT-SHIFT-M

The FPS readout in EVE is different to that, it has a little graph and is in the same style as all the other in game windows.

Looks exactly like the Xfire one, Press scroll lock + X in game and see if you can un-pin it.
