As the title says. Recently, (several hours ago, the onbord speaker on my mobo startec "chirping" randomly. The tone varies, as does the length and delay between the chirps.

Does anyone know what this means? The mobo is a MSI k7n2 - ILSR

other than the obvious unplugging of the speaker, what can i do? this makes me think of somesort of stupid virus or something, but there are no processes i don't recognise in the task manager.

sounds fubared tbh. check your cpu isn't overheating and your voltages are correct.

Have MBM - CPU is running @ about 109F - Voltages are solid, though the 12V is about .1 V low. Other than that, it's fine.

Also, it's been running fine for a few days like this.
