Thats about where I get to each time, scoring around 3000 - 3500 and I cant get any further. God it is addictive though.
you can do it with like 5 fire towers then upgrade to 6 super towers and about 8 water towers and you can complete it -- but you get like 8,000 no where near the #1 on the leader table
I've found the only way to get even a reasonably high score is to ignore the water & earth towers (and hence the rocket towers), just upgrade to fire as soon as possible and then stick to interest.
Hah you all do better than me I can get to bonus 5 and i usually have about 8 combo towers and only water. My usual strat is 1 cannon for lvl 1, then 2 get 1 arrow tower, these can last me till about level 5 with upgrade here and there. Fire as the first research as the 1 tower can pwn anything. I like having water to slow things down though.
I do it: 1st level:2 arrows, 2 5 arrows... that leads me to lvl 4, 3 more arrows, and from then only fire's . Every upgrade goes to intrest except for fist and last... Those go to fire and water...
I got 13,687. The first time I finished it as well, sticking to fire towers has worked out the best as advised. Though I do find it worrying that even though I have now finished it I desire to do it again to beat that score.
Bummer got to level 39 with 25k points and let the last creep out to lose me the game grrr. i thought i had enough lives! Fire is the best strat, get laod of em in and upgrade to level 2 keeping over 10k in the bank. Best upgrade path IMO is fire - interest - interest - water (28) then mroe interest at 35
wooo! got to 36k and the last level, then looked at the score board.... ....o dear shame i came like 565th or summin better than my last go where i came like 2,900th lol the secret is upgrading the fire towers i had 4 arrow towers and 4 upgraded fire towers up untill the 21st level then i started building loads
That is too fun. I've been playing for 5 hours now. Can't get a very high score though...6k or thereabouts is my best
Yikes, I'm not going near this. I created (err... modified and thoroughly expanded) a TD map with a friend in War3 some time ago, and that was insanely addictive. I bet I'd be pretty good if I tried from past habits, but I don't dare, seeing that it's 7:30am and I really should be getting to sleep soon (damnit, sunrise already, that won't help).
That game is soooooo addicting. Almost as addicting as the game where you had to throw the little stick figures up in the air.
Rocket combos are pretty gash really, a few water and lv 3 fire will see you through. The way to win is to economise early and then later you can spend your interest. Theres a video on youtube of levels 1-17 which is quite a good strat but its not always the same
