You're gonna have an uphill battle.

Your best bet is to get your mates together and organize a group buy through some small storefront shop. You'll have to convince the guy he won't get stuck holding on to a bunch of excess inventory, cause those are kind of steep.

Have you looked on the LEDtronics site for a local distributior and contacted them? I have a local source that gets the minimum order down to US$50 (and no I won't send you some, don't bother to ask--sorry but I'm moving in the next few weeks).

I just emailed a guy who did this exact mod to his digi-doc. His article is up at virtual hideout (sorry don't know how to link yet). It took him a while to get those leds. He had a local shop order them for him. I'm surprised maplins doesn't have them they seem to have every other damn thing. I will let you know if I hear anything.....I want a blue digi doc too!

That would be me. Linear pointed out that there were people in this forum who wanted in on this, so email me at digidoc@animeguru.com for more info, or check out the post I've got going in the modding forum.

I've got an order in for green and blue, but I can add red for those interested. Just let me know.

    Hope that helps everyone out!!

The closest I got was this...

    Maplin Code: QW96E

I doubt its what you are wanting but hope that helps in some way. Its probably best to have a look at the site yourself. Then again, I just looked in the catalogue for it so maybe they might sell them but I dunno..
