Haven't seen any posts about this yet. I've played the demo (and hopefully some of you have made U.S. accts to download it since SCEE is holding out yet again on European content for PSN) and it is really good. Some of the impressions I've been reading were very accurate. The game doesn't really do a whole lot that is innovative and new to the genre, but that is honestly a great aspect of the game. It's traditional, but it still feels "new". Thus far the only tilt I was able to use in the game was controlling Ratchet as he free falls quite a ways down a skyscraper towards the end of the demo stage. The actions is fun though, and the comedy is still there as usual. Nothing funnier than killing your enemies while they moonwalk to the Groove Tron bomb.

I'd love to get this game, although I've only played the first one, I should really get round to grabbing copies of the sequels.

I need to play the older Ratchet and Clank's myself. The only one I played was Deadlocked on PS2. I was more of a Jak fan at the time so I never gave RnC a chance.

Shame the 2nd one didn't carry on from the original if I can remember, the first was excellent!

The game is looking good so far, most reviews are around the 90% mark, mostly getting knocked down for being more of the same, I've not played one so its all new to me.

heres a couple of reviews for those interested.

I enjoyed the demo alot, but deleted it coz it doesn't have much replay value, much like the game I assume

Why were you expecting replay value out of a demo?

Just called my local Gamestop and they confirmed they will be selling it tomorrow. I'm going to try and swing by to pick it up and I will give ya'll the low down on it if I do get a hold of it; and without any spoilers of course.

Double post I know. Been playing the full version of RnC now and the game is total awesome. Highly recommend it for anyone with a PS3 looking for something to fill you up on Platforming/Action.

I wish they would have included the ideas and playstyle of Deadlocked as a Multi-player aspect for the new RnC. I think with the multiplayer of Deadlocked mixed in with Tools of Dustruction would have made a perfect 10 in my book.

I own all the R&C titles, and have to say I find them still the best titles on the Playstation. As for this release, all I can say is great looking game, shame about the console.

The ratchet and clank games on sonys machines are the only reason i bought the PS2 after playing round a mates house and is probably the only decent game for my PS3 *toddles off to play it*

I dunno about the only decent game. I rented Folklore and it's a very good game as well. I'm still in the Faery Realm so I'm not too far in, but everything feels so ambient the graphics during gameplay are really great, and catching the Id's are fun too. The cutscenes are very well done also. Gonna buy it once I get paid again. Enough of me being offtopic though.

Well I havent personally played R&C on any platform ever and from all the recommendations of this thread i downloaded the demo, I must admit i was very pleasantly surprised a truly nice game. I deffo get the full version upon release. :)

I bought it after playing the demo, too. Worth every penny so far and then some. There are some bits you just don't quite expect to happen in a platforming game, but fit in very nicely.
