QX9650 is kinda pricey, we'll see when it's time If I get a decent job over the summer (poor student right now...) then I might go Ivy Bridge, otherwise I can't really afford a major PC upgrade. I should be able to run Borderlands 2 fine with this rig, so I'm happy
Docodine 5/10 every things getting abit old now but if it can do what you need it to then why spend money you dont have. Pete you got in befor i could finnish(im a slow typer) Anyway mine is ok it can run bf3 on ultra without AA and keep above 25fps on 64 player maps also skyrim maxed with no AA and alot of mods now steam workshop is working

@KidMod Good parts all around, not a fan of the speakers though. Which version of the 1055T is that? Low or high TDP? Should last you quite a while, 6-core with lots of RAM and a powerful GPU.. EDIT: Just took a look through your build log, crazy case!
Damn, I've done this already! I'll tip you up to a 7 this time. Edit: What!? For the first time! I wasn't ninja'd!
really? i5-760>x4 980 in almost every way...especially when the 760 is @4.1 and the 980 is at 4.3...especially at gaming...especially at power consumption...especially at...you get my point...oh well... thaifood...it's fine, just finding fault where there really isnt much...
I'll give yours a nice 9/10 because you have an insane amount of RAM, sweet SSD and that CPU is pretty good. Sabretooth boards are win. Are you running overclocked?
7/10 - nice cpu overclock, gfx card is okay, enough ram for most things. It's no powerhouse but it does the job without breaking a sweat.
