    6.1/10

An overclocked Xeon is a hell of a surprise. LGA 1156 based CPU drops the score a touch. Unknown PSU, so I'll not mark for that. The C300's aren't bad SSDs, but outdated now. I'm assuming that's RAID 0 Caviar Blacks, in which case; that's some surprisingly fast storage you'll have there, no mention of RAM size, however, so I've not marked for that.

May as well actually throw my rig out onto the chopping block properly.

    AMD FX-8120 @ 4.7Ghz, (1.625V) Heatkiller 3.0,
Gigabyte 990FXA-UD3 V1.0 (Rev. F6f bios) - EK GA AMD Kit, VRMs and NB only. SB doesn't fit. (EK knows this)
16GB Corsair Vengance LP memory, 1600mhz @ 1.55V (1.5 errors because the vdroop is too large.) (Run at up to 1743 before errors due to that)
2x KFA2 550TI White Edition cards, stock 1000,2000,2300, run at 1024,2048,2300 (Even upped Vcore in the bios can't make these go any further. I has a sad.)
OCZ Agility 3 60GB, latest Firmware.
    1TB WD Caviar Green (Sata)
    500GB Hitachi Deskstar (sata)
Lite-Ion Blu-Ray Drive (HD films, Woot!)
Silverstone Strider Gold 1000W (Max efficiency at the load my system places on it. Woot.)
Silverstone Raven RV02 v1.7 (Not the -E version, so Not hotswappable drives for me. (The HDD cage in this case sucks. Seriously. Don't ever get a Non -E Raven unless you have no choice))
Asus Xonar DX soundcard. (Hooray for FLAC!)

EK Koolstream XT 360 Radiator, Swiftech MCP 355 (With EK Clear top) 18W version, Phoyba Balancer Nickel 250.

All of it connected to: BenQ G2222HD, Sennheiser HD 485 headphones, Creative Gigaworks T40 speakers, Microsoft Sidewinder X6, Logitech G13 & my ancient, indestructible A4-Tech Oscar X-748K.

The monitor's lovely :) 1920x1200, nice colours, clear and crisp.

8/10 for an sli'd rig and w/c, plenty of ram, nice case.

Interesting that you should say that about the ram. I created a price check earlier in the week about the ram as I was upgrading to 12gig. I have just taken delivery of my shiny new CL9 PC12800 Ripjaws. Not quite as tight as the dominators which I have running at 6-6-5-16, but I am sure I will benefit from the extra quantity.

As for the keyboard, I really like it. It's the original G15 with popup screen and still works perfectly.

Tis a nice rig indeed, awesome case, nice custom loop.
For me the only issues being the monitor and keyboard. Since money cannot be an issue, surely you should have a u27 atleast ;)

And keyboard is poor because it's not mechanical :D

    Still a 9/10 though.

one question: what does people have against G15's?? find me a mechanical keyboard that also have the LCD screen.

9/10, not enough RAM though

    You have an auto overclock?

Atleast 1 point off of your score then.
Rest of the system is pretty sweet though, although no details about keyboard, mouse, monitor etc,
    7/10

    Edit:
What do people have against ;)

And my personal point of view is purely based on whether it's mechanical or not, there's no way I'd dream of spending that much on a rubber dome keyboard, but that's just me :)

Well, you can get an LCD screen and a mechanical keyboard.. I own a G15 (got it for free, long story) and the thing is so mushy compared to my (quite poor) mechanical keyboard.

Nice PC overall, just not many parts that I would personally pick.. AMD CPU watercooled, very fast RAM in low quantity, tenkeyless keyboard.. I'm sure it's plenty fast though :thumb:

    7/10

I'm not sure if it was you, but didn't you used to have a Christian reference in your signature?

    I upgraded my graphics card last night! 4850 512mb -> 4870 1gb with a nice cooler! :eek:

Processor is aging, but appears to be overclocking well, Scythe always a bonus, quite a bit of RAM, 4870 is a little old but still good card, Storm Scout is a nice case, Vertex Plus is not my favorite, VX Nano is my favorite mouse of all time.

I did indeed, but it caused offtopic chat, and thread derailment, so I got rid.

And I am tempted to upgrade the RAM, but not worth the money at the moment I reckon.
I'd rate yours 6/10. I mean, it's all very nicely balanced really, all older tech etc. But well suited to each other, and can probably do most things you want it to do :)

    EDIT: @mac trekkie
    2 of them!? well...
first one i'd give 7.5/10. nice oc on the cpu, good chunk of memory and an aging but still very capable gfx.
second one gets 9.5/10. bitchin system! i completely understand waiting on the gpu so i haven't deducted any marks. the only thing is the case. didn;t even know what it was and had to go googling. i'm sure you love it, but not for me. oh no:nono:
