Networks Ravo anyone?

    A friend of mine has bought a new wireless router from a local pc shop and it seems to have a flacky wireless network (like most), so i was going to update the firmware for it.

    Ive search high and low for there website but drawn a blank so far, the info i no about it is as follows

    Router - Ravo 54G Enhanced Wireless Router (W54-RTE)

    i got the manual from this site but it has no contact details inside it

    and ive found some website that dont work on google, namely

    www.ravotek.com
    www.ravotek.nl
    www.ravotek.hu (this works but has no info)

    Has anyone ever heard of this make? Has anyone ever had one? It does have some good features built into it if only it worked.

    Ravo Firmware

    My Ravo wireless Router turned flakey after a couple of months. I bought it on ebay from germany but couldn't get any answer to my emails. Primarily my concern was that the USB print server stopped working all together. Even after a reset it refused to work. I eventually found a firmware update for it from a foreigh site but was a bit reluctant to install it as i couldn't actually translate the instructions.
    My fears were unfounded though as the update was a simple procedure and the router has worked flawlessley since. If you need the update you can email me and i will send it to you.
    Incidentally, i keep a heatsink and fan sat on top of the router at all times. Its wired to a usb plug that is spliced into the printer cable and it helps to cool the router. If you want to try it let me know and i'll post a reply.

    Ravo Router Firmware

    Hello there - this is an old post...so I'm hoping you are still around !

    I have a Ravo AR-W54 Router as well, and need a newer firmware for it...do you still have a copy of it ?...thanks - David

    Ravo Router Manual & Firmware (Ravo AR-W54)

    Hello everybody,

    I have a Ravo AR-W54 Router, too. But I have no user manual and no files for firmware update.

    At the moment I can't access configuration page. Which IP have I use to?
    - LAN connected computer got IP 169.254.43.97, no Standardgateway.
    - WLAN is locked I vergot the password because the router is out of use for several years.

    Is there somebody, who can help me?

    @heronic: The default IP for my Ravo AR-W54 is 192.168.123.254. Hope that helps.

    I could do with a firmware update, so if you have any luck, please let me know.
