I just traded a 3.5kg home grown marrow for 20L of cooking oil, which'll turn into 20L of biodiesel for my car No reason for this thread other than a quick boast
I dont see how your MPG could do on that... I mean smelling like a french fry and having obese people all over the outside of the car has got to do something terrible to the mileage...
My corsa has a real old diesel engine in it that can run off cooking oil. Trouble is cooking oil isn't that cheap any more so haven't switched to it
Is this some sort of Zelda item trading line? What did you trade to get the marrow? Who will you trade the exhaust fumes to and in return for what? How many more trades before you get to the end of the sequence?!
I read a post on a out doorsy forum where some guy mentioned he could get Diesel for 98p per litre, his old landy ran on the cheapest industrial cooking oil from Makro.
Just do what my friend does, and collect it from local restaurants, filter it, and use it. He gets around 40L a week and doesn't have to grow any marrows
cut length wise, cover in Parmesan cheese and broil. add to stir fries. make bread out of it. add to ratatouille.
USA broil = UK grill. I was at a loss what to do with it, anything involved having to keep a large bit of it in the fridge for a while (how much marrow can you eat in a week?!) without freezing it so figured it was easier to trade it at the pub next door (where I get oil from anyway ) and they put it on the menu - Veal with Toby's home grown marrow :win: I just thought it would be a nice goodwill gesture I have an old landy and yep, they luurve vege oil. It varies from 0 - 15ppl.
