In a high-priced iPad Pro keyboard. http://www.bit-tech.net/news/hardware/2016/07/15/razer-low-profile-switches/1
In a Cherry MX perspective, I could see this being appealing for black or red switches, but this seems kind of pointless with brown or blue. Traditional membrane scissor keyboard keys don't travel far enough to take advantage of precise actuation points. Standard desktop keyboard keys travel much farther and tend to require more effort to press them, to the point that you can easily press a key and not actuate it (hence why Cherry switches were so appealing). But in most laptops I've used, it's very difficult to press the key and not actuate it. But, if Razer designs scissor keys that have a smooth press rather than a tactile one, they could be onto something pretty interesting.
