I can't wait to see the retail product.

Wow this is just one of those devices that i will never be able to afford but this thing is amazingly nice!! any idea on costing?

 

Why make such an amazing keyboard for a device that is only capable of playing wow?
What razer made is basically a laptop, and has all the downsides that normal laptop has, such as heat issues, lack of power and small screens and then market it to the gaming market?
While the Ipad and other such devices are designed around the touch screen, Razer seem to have added the touch screen as an afterthought. The basic laptop layout is just not designed for a touchscreen device. Razer have not seemed to try and get around this problem, they appear to have made the hinges move backwards.
Also I HIGHLY doubt you will be able to use it for any length of time in its "Handheld" mode as shown in pic 2. Even the Ipad is considered a bit weighty, imagine the bulk and awkward shape of this thing.
I wonder when more info will come out about it, until then I am not too impressed

 

Looks very cool. Not very usable for anything other than gaming (and even then the functionality looks questionable) by the looks of it, though..

However, the keyboard looks like a viable alternative to the stupidly expensive Optimus keyboard.

 

If you read the article, it's designed to run other games as well. They had Supreme Commander 2 running. They also commented about how incredibly light it was.

All I can say is .

 

Did the first guy in that video think he was doing a voice over for a movie trailer? Because it certainly seemed like it...

So we can therefore assume it's running on magic? Because if it were possible to make a small and light yet powerful laptop which rivals that of a desktop PC (which they are claiming it does), I'm sure someone would have done it by now. They didn't mention what hardware it uses other than it runs on the Atom platform, which we all know is useless for most common tasks, let alone gaming.

TL;DR - the hardware doesn't yet exist for this device to be able to perform everything they say it can, and even if it did, other things (like that keyboard) would make it outrageously expensive to the point that we would all laugh at anyone who was even considering buying one.

To be fair Captain Intense was by far the best thing in that video, I'm still laughing at it now.

 

Guy at start is super serious gamer. Looks like a really nifty bit of kit but not for me. I'd rather commute with a generator and my ATX tower, monitor gaffer taped out infront of my head on a stick and my KB+M. As for movies music and web access though, it would be awesome for that, but too many cheaper alternatives.
