[edit] my HPI Savage 3.5RTR in all its muddy glory.
It all depends really. By the looks of it Sc4mpi and MDK have the later models, which have all your modifications done for you. I bought my SS back in 2004 so it was the first generation, with no servo saver on teh steering, 2 spiders in the diffs and all that. By the time I had finished building it, modding it, hopping it up and added my digital 3PK radio it landed me at about £900ish. The radio alone was like £300.
Both mdk and i got them at the same time. though mine was a kit that took no less than 14hours to build :S, were has his was a rtr *lucky s^d*
mine is good fun dog chasses it its a funny can't catch it mind but still amusing . well worth the £300 morgan.
Kits ***, imo. Being only £300 now, it really does tempt me to get another sometime. Probably after i get a real car though, since its hard enough to carry around one, nevermind twins.
Heres my old Associated T4. I loved that thing to death but i was in to the video games then and traded it for an Xbox and some games, Stupid I guess its now called the Black Basher, I upgraded the speed controller to a Novak Dually and had a 15 turn Reedy Pt modified motor in it. Oh i wish i never traded it away. Im thinking about getting a stampede though because of my new house and its location. Do you think i should go for a stampede or a little bit more expensive?

Raced a few SAVAGE 25's or whatever they are, they were bragging that they would beat me in a race, and once this badboy hit 2nd gear it took off and left them in the dust, it was great.. then they felt stupid
