Apple re-download iTunes Store songs

Hi,

I have bought some music on iTunes Store, and it got downloaded just fine.

My problem is.. Long story short - I deleted my whole iTunes library

How do I re-download the songs I have bought on iTunes Store ?

I have tried using the "search for purchases" but no luck..

 

AFAIK, Apple won't let you - they say it' your responsibility to keep your data safe.

Just for future reference you are able to re-download your iTunes purchases just once if the unfortunate happens, but you'll have to email Apple first: http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/store/lostmusic/

 

The annoying thing is iPod games, downloaded a Game, put it on my iPod.. iTunes then decided to crash whenever I plugged my iPod in, so formatted iPod.. had to buy the damn game again.
