I cant edit some of my files because they are put as read only. I have tried right clicking on the directory and unticking the box which says read only. i then click apply. When i right click on the directoryn it says read only again. I am getting really angry at this now.....
I just get my crystal ball out and find out what OS you have and whether your are logged in as an administrator? but seriously you need to provide more info if you want help
sorry i forgot all of that stuff anyway im running windows xp home (not service pack 1 ) and i am logged as a admin.
Create another admin account say called shogan and then try doing giving them execute and modify rights again. Also where are these directories?
well its my gta3 direc which is in program files. i have tried messing with the whole program files direc,gta3 direc and the individual files inside the gta3 direc. :edit: ive just tried with a different profile and it stays the same, ive also tried copying the directory to the root directory but it makes no difference.
add/remove programs> uninstall gta > reboot> reinstall gta. dont worry, yer saves are in My Documents.
