    Um, Pennywise

Me Finks there should be a bit-tech group of tents where we can all leave comps so others may steal them.

Come on, you know you wanna go...

Yeah I'm going. Probably not camping this year though as all my mates have sprogs now and have "grown out of it" and my boyfriend's parents house is in walking distance. Mmmm daily showers and a comfy bed :D

This should probably go into the Music forum...

Sweet, many people will travel to Reading!!!

Was actually talking to an American the other day which actually thought British people were so cultured and sad that we'd camp in mud and read books all day!

No, it is true that the line-up isn't so good this year. It's the worst it's been since I started going. But Pennywise  ARE punk rock and it's tradition now...

I figure it'll be cool to chill out a bit this year and try some bungy jumping!

(I'll try and stop using the rock smilie now... sorry.... )

Leeds for the Sunday methinks. The other days aren't really worth it for me. I'd prefer Reading on the Saturday but I can't get tickets anywhere, grrr. It's loads closer. Oh well.

    *orders Leeds tickets*

    Highlights for me:
Beck and Cave In on main stage.
The Mars Volta on the Radio 1 stage.
Pennywise, The Movielife, Poison The Well, Thrice and Funeral For A Friend on Concrete Jungle stage.

    w00t.

I is a BIG punk fan see - so saturday's cool, the rest is slow. I'm sure I have an MD of Poison The Well, but I's forgotten. Heavy right? Waterdown type of thing?

Waterdown? No no no. Poison The Well are metalcore through and through. Waterdown is 'emo-core by numbers'.

    Ah, I see...

I've never really got into the metal/gridcore side of life. I like the stuff that has a good voice over nasty, sludgy guitars - but never gone out to buy any. The deftones (all though not heavy) is a classic example of the vocals I'm into.

I did buy a scissor fight album a while back... but that's it

    I'm mainly looking forward to:
Metallica (not as much as i was since they have turned to ****, they can't even do the old stuff right now)
    System of a Down
    Placebo
    and The Mad Caddies

Im no metal fan, but id say poison the well were a bit like the dillinger escape plan, you firts here it, then say urrgghhh cant listen to that, then a really subtle melody appears and you you feel special for having noticed it :worried: (this making any sense?)
