Windows Really annoying Windows start bar niggle..

    i use auto-hide and always on-top for my windows startbar, just recently, the start bar only pops up if there are no windows covering it, it doesn't pop-up and its never ontop, it only pops up if there are no windows about, or there is a maximised window which is curently in focus and then you roll onto it.

    Anyone else getting this, could it be a windows update, any ideas on a fix?

    did you try uncheking always on top applying and rechincking it and applying?

    I used to have this happen all the time on NT and 98. I finally just got tired of messing with it and resetting it all the time. Now I just leave the stupid thing up all the time. Personally....I think M$ probably knows that there is an issue with it, but since they have to spend so much time researching and plugging security holes they'll never fix it. :D

    I tried uncheckign and rechecking and all that, it had no effect, but it appears to have fixed itself now :confused:

    Ahh well, i'm not going to question it. :thumb:
