Electronics really stupid LED Qeustion

    I feel like an idiot asking this, but...

    is this right

    I already fried 2 leds because I wired them wrong;

    12v

    ground

    It should be +5V -> 100R -> LED -> GND (that was what you displayed in the image), and they shold be parallel. Of course the resistance depends on the voltage and current rating of your LEDs. Make sure that you actually are using the 5V lines.
    Remember that on fans, the +12V line is red.

    Like bard said, the resistor value depends on your individual LED.

    yeah, I checked, but that's how it would look for 2 LEDs?

    Bruno, not like your second pic, but like your first pic. That is called parallel.
