I am being 100% series but I think my computer has become addicted to bit-tech because this is the only ******* website that will load consistantly. Maybe mediacom is just acting up lately but this is very weird. It even has trouble finding google. Oh well, I guess if there's one site to be stuck at, at least its worth looking at :hehe:

Funny, my Mediacom service did this too...Bit was the only page it would load. Extremely weird tbh...:worried:

Whoa...my bulldog 1Mbit service did this but it would only load bit-tech and google a while back. Must be some sort of explanation but it was spooky at the time. :D

I'd guess that this is something to do with the DNS servers your ISP uses, I remember a while back when ntl were having DNS troubles and bit-tech was one of the only websites I could access, something to do with your computer's DNS cache I think.

I have had the same- when my ISP (EFH Broadband) had routing issues, I could only get on Bit-tech. This didn't matter though as it's the most visited site on PC anyway.
    :D

It's not so strange. If bit-tech is your most frequented website then it's likely the DNS cache servers will have that particular host-name. Also you may be viewing pages that you already looked at via the browser cache.

Yeah that does make sense, but they must have fixed it cause I can view other sites now. Let's see...what to look at? Hmmmmm...how about forums.bit-tech.net! :duh:
