At first i was looking to get the new Aspire with the gauges on the front panel but after time i reconsider all this,becouse is too small for my needs.I need a large case with optional place for 2x 80mm fans in the back.Help me choosing new case.
If size is not an issue build your own box from fiber board (MFD board). Give it 4" extra depth so the connectors at the rear stay within the case. Make the back panel of the case a door and let the cables out along the edge. That way you don't have to tinker with the I/O panel (just an L-profile so the PCI cards get some support). For mounting the 5.25" drives you can use the sheet metal contraption torn from a cheap case. Get a hole saw and place fans any place you want.
^^ word. Rogue 5 is one of those and I am very satified with the overall quality of it. Cheaper case = more money for parts right?
Do you think that case ( http://www.xoxide.com/aspire-x-cruiser-case-black.html ) should be enough for whole watercooling system,sleeving,4 fans,2x Criticool Reservoirs,3x HDD's,LCD,DVD rw,Lian li thermal monitor,Mitron 5,25" controler, 12" vantec cold cathode and many more leds. And another thing that bother's me - can i drill 120mm front blowhole instead of the usual 80mm one?Look at the front picture and tell me,becouse i want to mount 120mm Aerocool Turbine 3000 Black Fan.
thats an ugly pre-mod if ever i saw one. go for something LianLi and mod ur heart out, best finish in the business on those babies....check the project logs for some niceuns.
