i am looking for a good mitx motherboard for a htpc / fileserver. my requirements are that it needs to have at least 1 pci or pci-e slot for an additional sata card, or at least 4 sata ports on board, standard ddr2 memory slots no notebook style sodimm and a decent enough onboard video to do 1080i. i would also prefer that the cpu is included on board, but may consider am2 or 775 options also. additional bonus would be hdmi port, optical audio. if at all possible i would like to stay under the 150 price point.
i already have some ddr2 800 and 6 sata disks in my current storage that would like to be able to use what is already on hand.
can any of you mitx enthusiasts recommend me something?

I actually think stonedsurds' recommendation would be the better choice, it has every single thing he asked for, a 9400 is perfect for 1080i while your board only has a 9300, also the ion board has enough Sata ports, a PCI slot, normal DDR2-Ram and optical audio, plus a cpu integrated thats suits fine for what he is planning. This all under 150gbp, while your recommendation exceeds this. No offence, but the first one just fits perfectly.

thanks stonedsurd. thats at the top of the list. just need to wait for funds... well its more futureproof as i would be able to use pci-e x16 for a sata 6gbps add on card later. :thumb:
