I've had some serious connection problems with my cable. It just doesn't work (see http://forums.bit-tech.net/showthread.php?t=264972) Can anyone recommend a good mini display port to display port cable? As for why I can't just use some other port instead - I'd rather not as it would save me having to plug and unplug moving between laptops, desktop and work PC. Cables are all difficult to get to.
The Startech one on Amazon was what I was going to buy until I found one in my GPU box (if that helps!)
I was slightly worried as someone mentioned interference issues with that particular cable. No cable in my box I might try a firmware update.. not sure if that will help given the macbook was intermittent as well
