    Hey Ryan.

Review for it will be coming next week.

No one makes Cubit 3 mini-itx cases anymore :( they were really good.

There really are more Mini-ITX cases available on the market than you can shake a stick at... a good selection of them can be seen here. The only factory manufactured one I've used is the VoomPC Case, in my mum's old Merc, and it definitely made for a nice sturdy and shock resistant car-PC enclosure.

The only proper manufacturer which has had a crack at this new market is Silverstone, and some of their stuff is nice, and guaranteed to be of quality. Personally however, I would be tempted at making my own. There's something about a 17cm motherboard, which is just asking for some dremel action :dremel: :p

    Board review, sorry.

Mod - they all look like horrible blocky crap. At least the Cubit 3 had style.

I know, they're all blocky as anything... When are manufacturers going to start cottoning on, I wonder? Something along the lines of the mac mini would be nice...

Personally though, I quite fancy running a Mini-ITX off a battery...

@ Platinum - Why not have a go at making your own? It might be a laugh...

I have talked to Lian Li and Cooler Master and neither seem that interested in what they both consider small markets.

    Winner.

Really? Damn... I was looking forward to see what Lian-Li had to throw up, especially after the 360 case...

That 'Hoojum' doesn't look too bad though... a nice little deviation from the norm of the Shuttle... though that front panel is a bit iffy...

The Cubit 3 is far, far nicer than the 5 - my parents NAS box is built around one.
