We have a communal aerial in the roof-space and was installed in 19 oatcake in the days of a few analogue channels, supplying 6 flats. It really is not up to the job so + if the temperature rises we lose a shed load of channels. So I am looking to get my own aerial stick it on the roof and needs to supply two rooms. Which aerial do you recommend?
Aerials are so outdated. Why not install a satellite dish? You can do it yourself and doesn't require permission, landlords won't pay for it but normally have no problem with you doing it because they get a facility in their property for free. More channels, better clarity.
I still have and maintain a terrestrial aerial, and I bought mine from http://www.aerialsandtv.com/ I called them up to talk a couple of things over - they are really helpful. You need to know what 'group' aerial you need for your transmitter (A-G if I remember rightly). I bought an 18 element Yagi from them, and it's top banana!
Seemingly I pick up signals from the Craigkelly transmitter and my aerial group is W. http://www.digitaltvaerialsandsatel...erial_groups.asp#CENTRAL_SCOTLAND_AND_TAYSIDE Cheers mate will give them a call.
