Hi guys, first off i'm not really much of a poster on bit-tech but i've been lerking around and watching the mods forums for years - no stranger to the mod scene lol As with a lot of thing, over time u've loss out on keeping up to date with new things and i'm a little stuck when it comes to case choice. I've got a MM UFO duality as my main rig but i'm also running a unraid server with sickbeard/sabnzbd and want something to keep it hidden away. I got myself a Define R2 for £75 a few months ago but it really is pretty huge and much more than i'm needed right now so my plans are to sell that on and move to something else. I want to find a nice cube case - ideally like the old Yeong Yang yy-0221 cases (still kicking myself for selling mine years ago). My requirements are med-good build quality, cube shaped holding 6 HDD's and a full ATX psu. any thoughts?? ps: anyone thinking of selling a yy-0221 case let me know
ooh Lian Li PC-V354 is nice and pretty much the size / hdd fitting i'm after. I'll take a look at a couple of reviews for that thanks. Been a while since i got rid of the V2000 so maybe its time i had another LL case
I've been reading the reviews on the V354 and they all seem positive. Space for a 35cm graphics card, 7 hard drives, 3 2.5" mounting spots, 4 120mm fans. I even saw a thread where someone put an H70 on the front fans.
Nice one, i did search ebay the other day for it but i used yy-0221 and didnt come up with anything.. searched for yeong yang and found it this time I'll be investigating further for sure - would be ideal to get that. Don't get me wrong i like Lian Li stuff but be nice to have the familiar YY case back. Might even bring back my original colours i had on my last one - Purple outside and green hdd trays etc

Well personally i'd prefer if it was stock no windows etc but i'll take what i can get. Its already bid upto £79 so have to see as those new Lain Li cases are under £150. Seriously kicking myself for selling on the first one
I have one I'm thinking of getting rid of. One side window and removed fan grilles - thats the main (permanent) modification.
Cheers for the offers there - I would have been intrested too depending on price. I won the one advertised on ebay, £85 and comes with a half decent PSU so i'll sell on the PC to recover some of the cost, then i've a fractal designs R2 which is pretty much brand new so i'm sure i'll get a few £££ for that. Once i've build my server up in it i'll post up a photo of the result
Well started work on the new case, was a bit of a mess so I've cut out the fan holes and shot the interior with satin black. Waiting for sound dampening to arrive so I'll open a modding thread later once I've dun a bit more
Does the H70 really fit? I thought the hoses were too short, and that you were stuck with the H50 that case. Link if you remember it please.
