Hello folks, Here's my current Logitech G700s: I have two of these: one on my main PC and one on my study PC. As far as I'm concerned, it is the best gaming mouse I've ever used: It is a nice size, doesn't have annoying RGB and has a sensible amount of buttons. However the battery life was never great to start with and after almost 10 years is really starting to suffer: although I can switch the batteries between the two mice, the battery itself is a proprietary format, so no luck there. I'm not having much luck looking for something suitable, as modern mice seem to only have either two thumb buttons, or a gazillion. Anyway, I was hoping another Bit-Techer would help a homie out. Thanks in advance for suggestions!
My advice would be that it you have a Currys nearby, go and try some out in person as a mouse is such a personal thing. What's good for one person will be hated by the next. Despite being terrible, Currys usually have a decent gaming section with lots of mice, keyboards and chairs to try out
I just got a G502x plus lightspeed which is probably as close as you're going to get to the G700s. Has 3 side buttons, mouse wheel has side clicks and I've found that great in bf6, assigned right click (push wheel to right) to the EpiPen for revivals. The 2 dpi buttons can also be reassigned, battery life is good, it does have rgb, but there's always the "off" option. Other option might be Corsair ironclaw.
Been using the same mouse since start of august. Nothing to complain about the thing, solid mouse that does its job. Mine lives on my Powerplay pad so no idea about battery life
