Severance is worth a watch. British team building exercise in the Czech countryside goes... wrong. Proper old school limb removal and decapitations etc. Quite funny too.

Horror movies these days are seriously lacking. Especially the hollywood ones, they are to glamourous and over the top in there violence that it just gets boring and is not in the least bit scary, as well as being predictable. The old school japanese horrors that the wealth of hollywood remakes are coming from are far-far better.

Saying that, I have to agree that [REC] was pretty good and was surprising to say the least.

Love that film! its a shame nobody really knows about it!

How about Crazy Eights ? its not very clever or even very good but its quite a good watch.
Theres Pulse aswell which i was plesently surprised by alot better than i was expecting.

Dog Soldiers has been one of my favourites from the past few years, just the right amount of black humour and some great one-liners.

as far as i'm concerned, the shining is the only horror movie worth a damn. everything else is just comic.

    Severance is good.

Session 9 is worth a watch, though it does drag a little bit (may have had something to do with trying to keep a 9mth old occupied during it - YAY TOY BOATS!)

I saw a film on DVD recently that really gave me the creeps. Can't remember the name, or what it was about though. I'll have to see if it's still on the old lovefilm list.

Silent Hill was good, although the ending was a bit crap.
