You never stated what your budget is, although I'm assuming it to be big :p

By the way, as a start, you don't need a RAM cooler...

Budget say is £1.5k to £2.5k.

I worked 73hours last week... plus im doing ok online.

Ive got used to screens in a quad cube shape so three 24" side to side is going to be strange as I pop winodws and full screen you tubes up top.

Is there any thing coming down the pipe so to speak that should make me hold of on any key componet? When is the next series of Gpu out

Edit: As suggestions come along in this thread ill update the first post, that seems to be a good idea as would a total created at the bottom.

Well, skt 2011 and the new gen of GPU are ment to be out in the next few months I think. The endless cycle of computing...

Personally I'd wait as BT are doing the new buyers guide this week, I'd take all of the premium system spec but add a beafier GPU. AMD are preferred at you can run tripple screens from one card...

Also, consider portrait screens, that's what interests me personally, as you get a more compact but super high res screen then...

Hmm. You'll definitely be looking at getting at least two GPUs for SLI/Crossfire if you want to play games on high, ideally three. I'm assuming the screens are at least 1080p, so 2GB or more is desirable. Which means:

Two 6970s or two 2GB 6950s: AMD cards are reported to have awful air cooling when sandwiched together, so spacing out two is the best for air cooling

Two or three 3GB 580s: Three rear exhaust 580s together is noisy but manageable - but VERY expensive. Two 580s can be spaced out but cost almost as much as three 6970s.

The OCZ vertex 3 is better than the corsair one (driver issues sorted) and isn't the H100 now available at scan. Even if it wasn't there wouldn't be much point buying a H80 for the sake of waiting a week :)

Go with petey's suggestion, multi monitor setups are extremely VRAM intensive.

Unable to source the 700d, had enough of Corsair not being able to provide the products they list as available.. going to be dropping a number of their products from this build in protest :blah:

Pleased that the premium Player July 2011 is available and will be taking some parts ideas fromt this.

Don't know if you want to watercool but isn't the 600t better at air-cooling and quieter. And IMHO the White version looks sweet! :thumb

Just made some major changes to the build,

I have been thinking about the CPU and I might as well just get the Intel Core i7 2600K Unlocked, money is not that much of an issue (although its going to hurt when I buy the gtx590).

Ive gone for the gtx590 as it has triple screen support of the bat, if I need to add a second or third unit further down the road I can do, Ive tried to remain sensible on the SSD front keeping it at 128gb saving some money im sure office can install to a normal drive.

Bit tech and also 3dgamman off you tube lay praise on the SilverStone FT02B, so this will be the base.

Since I have a spare quad screen card I may get the PC together excluding the GPU so I have the system built and come bf3 release date or sooner I can ship a GPU in with a meaty 850watter ready to power it or them (2x590).

Id like to get the H100 cooler but its not available.

IMHO H100/H70 are a bit of a waste of money, the best air coolers can keep up with them and for the price of the H100 you can get a decent watercooling kit with everything you need and would give you much better CPU temps. Also I don't even think the H100 has been released yet has it?

Oh and you will need more than 850Watts to power 2 GTX 590'S (if you ever wanted to do that in the future). secondly unless your doing video encoding or something like that i7 2600k is a waste of money, even if you have got it to spend.

CPU update to i5 2500K, PSU at 1Kw level.

Could the Corsair Obsidian 650D Mid Tower Case house this kind of pc with these parts in them?

If we dont go with the SilverStone FT02B (recommended in this months prem player pc..) what else do we look at here.

I had a H70 cooler before and it was impressive so I was thinking about getting another unit, I think the H100 is out in the states?

need to change your sig Pete ;D

the 650D would be fine for your setup, unless you want to water cool in the future, and yes I would say 1Kw, 950W minimum, Enermax Revolution 1050W? or Corsair HX 1000w

well for triple 24" gaming you'd need a board capable of 2-3 sli/xfire
and in sandybridge that means either asus extreme maximus or gigabyte ud7

top bit is true, the bottom bit, half right,

Yes those boards do Xfire/Sli but so do a host of others

P8P67 Pro M for example, not a very expensive board but is xfire/sli capable, and I've just realised are you talking about boards that only have full x16 bandwith with an nf200 chip or something? 8x/8x for Xfire/Sli is still fine for cards, the only performance decrease you may see between x16/x16 vs 8x/8x would be in synthetic benchmarks
