I've become a bit bored of my current selection of music, I listen to music for probably 8 hours a day at least at uni, so I get bored quite easily....just seems a bit stale these days, what I have now. I'm after some recommendations basically, hopefully K, Penski or some other of our other resident experts can guide me in the right direction. Theres no specific genre I want to listen to, if I just list some bands I like/dislike then hopefully you can guide me in the right direction...shouldn't be too hard to recommend some new stuff Likes: The Transplants Pitchshifter The pixies The breeders Bad Religion Ramones Sonic youth Dislikes: The vandals Ska Sublime Reel big fish
You like similar music to me in those respects. Leeum recommends: Choking Victim Leftover Crack Operation Ivy Pennywise The Libertines

Wow, you've got a nice taste there! Saw the Bravery last month, and seeing Bloc Party in October Haven't heard of the counting crows though, but judging by your taste, I'm gonna have to listen to them <A88>
Incubus QOTSA Audioslave Descendents A Perfect Circle Rancid AFI At the Drive In Jane's Addiction Pennywise Faith No More
Cheers for the suggestions so far, in the process of trying to track down some of it. QOTSA, Audioslave, Nirvana, Incubus...heard already, like them all . Radiohead, I like, but jeez some of its depressing, music to kill yourself too some of it. Muse just do nothing for me, can't explain why...just, bleh. Just borrowed a mates Pennywise CD, me likes
If you like Pennywise, methinks you'll like Anti-Flag aswell. Same style of music What album have you borrowed?
