Other Recommend remote support software

Can anyone suggest some remote support software, ideally self hosted not cloud based, doesn't cost a fortune, and works with Mac and windows?

Looked at isl, team viewer, log me in etc but not really right for the situation.

 

Why aren't they right for the situation? What don't they do that you need them to do?

 

We are looking to have something that we can host ourselves, not cloud based

Ammyy admin? Old but still works I believe. We use Go To Assist at work and it's pretty good.

screenconnect is one of the best, you can host it on your own VPS or AWS instance too.

 

I use netsupport manager its a per machine license but you buy as many as you need with a minimum of 2 licenses, cost me about £52 inc vat

it has a server for secure connection part to it as well(its fairly straight forward to setup)

I should point out this is not a subscription based service either, so no yearly renewals, once you buy them they are yours forever

 

I have no idea on the pricing, it's probably something absured though, but BOMGAR has been the best remote support application I've used, we had it deployed on ~1000 client sites which made life so much easier than those we didn't have it on.

 

bomgar is good, but try a four figure sum for cost

 

Thanks guys. I had a look at screen connect it looks pretty good, I'll take a look at netsupport manager too.
