AMD Athlon 1.3GHz, mATX board, no mounting holes (so no Alpha), not a ton of space for mounting (desktop case)

was looking at the smaller Alpha (6035) with a decent 60mm fan, the Swiftech MCXC370 with something besides the Delta, TT Volcano 7 with the temp controlled fan

any others? teh swiftech seems expensive to me, but i've heard good things about them

    PAL6035 is my choice...

If you don't intend to OC much and want a cheap hsf, the Taisol 760 is pretty good :)

Just the knowledge that it could break off is enough for me not to want it. Admit it, you must hit your comp once in a great while. Imagine smacking it and the hsf falls off =\

Heh, I would probably hit it whenever something was being stupid =\

(The best way to show a program or hardware it is being dumb is by being a moron yourself)

as far as its concerned... the only hardware that would be a problem would be sound & video, have a nic in it for purpose of interfacing & remote access (i love XP)... its going to be an expensive part of my hi-fi... going to use it as MP3/divx/extra dvd player
