A/V Record sound playing with ASUS Xonar D2X

    Hi guys,
    right, I want to record whatever sound my PC is playing. I am using a ASUS Xonar D2X, how would I go about it?
    A 3.5mm jack from the Mic or Line In socket to the Front speakers socket? How will the quality be? Also, what software should I use apart from Windows Sound Recorder?
