Hi there, I had quite a lot of my work on my PC , backed up on a pendrive too.. my pendrive recently died so ive got a new one and now about 4 doccuments and 3 PSD's have literally disapeared, I havent touched them from their original possition so does anyone know if there is a way to recover them? ive checked recycle bin and they aren't in there and I dont delte it very often, and my TEMP folders are empty (once again i havent touched) so does anyone know where word back's up the recovery files to?
just as a thought, could Windows have been using the pendrive as part of a library and so the files were only on the pendrive?
You could always try something like FreeUndelete and you might get lucky, other than that the chances are they are gone. It's just something that happens sometimes.
